The 2026 Nordic Dialogue Forum on Environmental Sustainability in public procurements will be held on Wednesday the 30th of September 2026 from 09.30 to 15.00.
The forum is held at the Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel in Sweden.
The deadline for registering is September 22nd.
Invitation
Public procurement is about securing the goods and services needed to deliver vital public functions, while creating economic value and supporting robust and resilient supply chains. We share an ambition to ensure that this is done in ways that promote sustainable and ethical production, respect for people and the planet, and reduce negative impacts throughout the life cycle of products and services.
We will support this ambition through work across the procurement cycle, focusing our joint efforts on purchasing categories of common concern where Nordic cooperation can have the greatest impact. In these areas, we aim to harmonize sustainability and ethical requirements and, while respecting national legal frameworks, policy priorities and market conditions.
Greater Nordic alignment creates clearer and more predictable expectations for suppliers, reduces duplication of effort and strengthens our collective market influence. We aim to develop and implement this work in dialogue with suppliers, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders.
We therefore invite suppliers, industry associations and other relevant stakeholders to a dialogue forum on the 30th of September at the Best Western Malmö Arena Hotel in Sweden.
This forum is held the day before the 8th Conference on Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH) in Malmö on October 1st, 2026. The venue is the same.
We hope to see you in Malmö!
Best regards from the Nordic group on Sustainability Cooperation in Public Hospital Procurement
